Kshitig was born in rural South Korea, discovering his passion for farming rice, persimmons, and other East Asian agriculture. His father, Kim Dae-jung, was a Nobel prize winner, and the only Korean recipient to date. Because of this, Kshitig was surrounded by a plethora of different languages and cultures growing up. At the age of 12, he was sent to the United States to attend St. Marks All Boys High School in Texas. Here he joined the school’s premiere Postmodernist Shakespearean Drama Crew, receiving various awards for his performances. Currently, he is an Acting Major at Columbia College pursuing his dream to write his own play that encompasses his love for all his passions: rice, Korea, agriculture, Shakespeare, and boys.
